It feels strange and crazy to think I’ve been doing this for five years now. For most people I guess that wouldn’t seem so long and I guess it’s not. Although, to me it feels like it is because it’s the longest I’ve worked professionally in any field. I only worked for a few years full time as an architect post my studies. Prior to that I had a varied amount of odd jobs. Anyway I digress. The point is, it’s a strange place to be, in a type of transience of moments, capsules of time collected through photography. It never feels like work either, it just feels like life unfolding, spending time with incredible people. Then there’s just this medium, that is, the camera and it allows the slowing down of those moments into a frozen stamp and I’m always using it. With each and every frame I’ve taken, I remember the exact day, the moment, the position in which I was, to allow for that frame to be stamped. And so it somehow stretches my concept of time. It is no longer linear, it is intrinsically behind and in front and always memorialised through these images that make up the very stories they convey.
Yeh, I like this photography thing…

I’ll be your gold angel, just leave a message, show you care.

This was simply a beautiful couple of hours that felt perfectly whimsical and romantic…
I defy you to watch and listen and not feel something.
